The Room Remembers

Privacy policy

Last updated: 23 October 2026.

This policy describes the iOS game The Room Remembers, published by Amir Ahmed. Contact: sales@quicksphere.co.uk.

Your puzzle progress

Room move history, completion, personal bests and preferences are stored on your device using Apple’s local app storage. We do not operate a game-account service or a game-progress server. Your device’s normal backup services may include this local data.

Advertising and consent

The game integrates Google AdMob and Google’s User Messaging Platform. Ads may be displayed between completed puzzle rooms. Players may also choose a rewarded ad for one extra depth step per room attempt; no ad is required to complete any room. The game requests non-personalized ads and disables publisher ad personalization and publisher first-party identifiers. It does not request Apple’s cross-app tracking permission.

Advertising still involves data processing. Google and advertising partners may process IP addresses (including approximate location inferred from IP), device and app identifiers, advertising interactions, and crash/performance information for ad delivery, measurement, security and fraud prevention. We do not add a separate developer analytics SDK. We do not request access to your contacts, photos, microphone, camera or precise device location.

Where applicable, Google’s consent platform presents choices before advertising requests are allowed. When required, you can reopen those choices from Game menu → Privacy & support → Manage advertising privacy choices. If advertising cannot load, puzzles remain playable.

See Google’s privacy policy and how Google uses information from apps using its services. These providers process information under their own terms and policies.

Reports and support

If you choose to report an inappropriate ad, the app opens an email draft. You decide whether to send it. Reports can contain your email address, your description, app version and any additional details you choose to include. Avoid sending sensitive information. Reports are used to respond to the issue and manage inappropriate advertising.

Retention and deletion

Local puzzle data remains until you delete the app or remove the app’s data. Deleting an app may not remove copies in your own device backups. Advertising providers retain their data under their policies. Support emails are retained only as needed to handle the request and meet applicable obligations.

Your choices

You can play puzzles offline, change advertising privacy choices where available, and contact sales@quicksphere.co.uk to ask about data we hold in support correspondence or exercise applicable privacy rights. For Google-held information use Google’s privacy controls and request processes. We do not claim to directly delete information held independently by an advertising provider.

Children

This release is a general-audience puzzle game, not an app in Apple’s Kids Category. It does not ask for age or create child profiles. If you believe personal information about a child was submitted in a support report, contact us.

Changes

We may update this policy when functionality, providers or legal requirements change. The date above identifies the current policy.
